Katie Eyre

Katie assists Fordham & Co LLP’s business and individual clients with complex tax and compliance issues. Her strong background in both public accounting and private industry provides her with perspective on how she can help her clients take the financial steps necessary to accomplish their non-financial life goals.

Katie originally joined Fordham & Co LLP in 1998 after gaining broad tax experience in several long-term positions. Specific experience that shaped Katie’s knowledge base include the five years she spent in KPMG’s tax department. There, she went through four years of rigorous tax school, which is comparable to a master’s degree in taxation program. In addition, KPMG gave Katie her first experiences in consulting and providing value-added services to clients. Katie was also recruited into PricewaterhouseCoopers. There she provided consulting services and specialized in utilities, closely held businesses and individuals.

Katie’s experience eventually led to a position as controller at a financial service company with more than $1 billion under management, all in multi-family housing. There, Katie gained experience in integrating and consolidating the financial operations of multiple companies, human resources and office management.

Katie also served as Senior Tax Manager with Harsch Investments for 4 years. At Harsch, Katie managed tax planning and compliance work for multiple entities, their individual owners, worked with the outside tax advisors, and learned the Yardi accounting software.

Since joining Fordham & Co, Katie focuses her practice on providing tax planning & consulting services for closely held business, mergers & acquisitions, and estate planning.
