Ted originally joined Fordham & Co LLP in 1977. He left the company in 1981, returned in 1983, and has been with the firm ever since. He provides tax and accounting services to a variety of clients in the Hospital, Not-For-Profit, Farm and Nursery, and Construction Industries.
Ted developed an interest in public accounting while attending Drexel University, where he participated in a work study program at two public accounting firms in Philadelphia.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Ted specialized in estate and trust tax work for First Pennsylvania Bank for two years. Later, he spent 3 years working as a Junior Accountant for D. Gathwright, where he worked in their tax department. He also worked with Alexander Grant & Co. as a Junior Accountant, where his responsibilities included audits and individual tax returns.
Ted also spent a brief period working in private industry, serving as the Accounting Office Manager with K&K Home Mart, Inc., where he managed a staff of 3 people. This position gave him excellent insight into the day-to-day workings of the entrepreneurial company.
In addition to Ted’s 28 years of experience in the accounting industry, his strong work ethic and his commitment to his clients make him an invaluable asset to BKR Fordham & Co LLP. Ted’s primary focus is to help his clients maximize their growth potential through sound tax and business strategy.
Ted resides in Hillsboro, Oregon. He enjoys biking, playing the mandolin, and reading; however, Ted is passionate about serving his clients, and considers his work to be his greatest source of personal satisfaction.
Ted’s Personal Mission Statement:
“My commitment to my clients is always my first priority. I dedicate myself to closely examining each client situation, so that I may provide the best advice possible. My goal is to help each client maximize their potential for growth, while avoiding any tax or business pitfalls.”
